WiFi SPARK is Now Available on G-Cloud 12

We’re thrilled to announce that WiFi SPARK is now available on G-Cloud 12 within the UK’s CCS G-Cloud Framework. Users can find our fully managed WiFi services for public sector organisations on the platform. The digital marketplace is a faster and cheaper way for buyers to find procurement contracts.

What is G-Cloud 12?

Set up by the UK government’s crown commercial services, G-Cloud 12 is an initiative that makes it easier for public sector bodies and government departments to procure cloud-based services.

It’s an online marketplace that’s filled with pre-approved vendors, allowing users to easily search for a solution that suits their exact needs. 

The framework allows public bodies to receive innovative cloud solutions that will improve their services. It also allows WiFi SPARK to deliver fully managed guest WiFi to significantly boost user experience. 

There are around 25,000 cloud services on the G-Cloud framework that are divided into three categories: cloud hosting, cloud software and cloud support. To be listed on the platform, G-Cloud suppliers need to have been evaluated and confirmed information regarding the way they work and the services they offer. 

Compared to previous iterations, G-Cloud 12 is more focused on security. Suppliers needed to meet certain anti-virus and anti-malware requirements before being accepted onto the platform. 

There were also new corporate social responsibility clauses added into this version of G-Cloud. They cover the standards and behaviours that are expected of suppliers who work with government organisations. Choose a supplier that’s listed on the framework and you can expect a high level of professionalism and service.
