Meet the Team: Welcoming Our 2 Newest Members!
3 minute read | 06/07/2023
At SPARK TSL, we believe that building a strong and innovative company starts with assembling a team of exceptional individuals.
That's why we are thrilled to introduce our two latest recruits who are set to take our company to new heights: Rachael Quinn, Service Delivery Manager, and Dan Jones, Android Developer.
Introduction
Rachael's previous role as Business Services Team Leader saw her liaising with local businesses to help source sustainable employment for a wide range of clients.
She was also the Business Lead for the Government-ran Kickstart Scheme which was a huge success for the Irvine office and resulted in several participants being permanently employed.
Experienced in working closely with local businesses, the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) and Local Authorities, collating and sharing data, Rachael is fully enthused and raring to take on the mantle of her new role here at SPARK TSL.
Rachael will be working alongside various team members, from Sales to Operations - who majority are located in Scotland (Irvine and Dumfries), to build upon existing strong customer working relationships, as well as new ones, and will help SPARK TSL achieve the goal of ensuring that every customer receives a Service Performance Review.
For hobbies, Rachael has a keen interest in dance and has done since she was young, and now regularly attends local Zumba and Fitness classes. An interesting fact about Rachael is that she is an identical twin and is also now a mum to twin girls aged 7. Wow!
Dan has recently joined SPARK TSL as an Android Developer. He has 10+ years’ experience in Android (and mobile generally) development, creating apps for phones, tablets, wearables, media sticks, Raspberry Pi’s and custom hardware.
Dan’s role within SPARK TSL is specifically focused on everything Android in relation to the SPARK® Horizon project. This involves anything from configuration and customisation of devices, right up to the creation and maintenance of new apps.
Outside of work, Dan is enthusiastic about most sports – football (particularly Ipswich Town!), cricket and F1. He has one 18-month-old daughter and another daughter due in September 2023.
By welcoming Rachael and Dan to our team, we are reinforcing our commitment to delivering the highest level of service and pushing the boundaries of technical advancement.
Their unique skill sets, and fresh perspectives, will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing success and solidify our position as a leader in the industry.
At SPARK TSL, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where every team member is valued and empowered to make a difference.
We are excited to see how Rachael and Dan's expertise will integrate seamlessly into our existing team, bringing new ideas and further propelling us towards our vision of transforming the way people connect to the world around them.
