The NHS are currently running wireless trials through The Connectivity Hub. Our existing WiFi solution can be utilised, optimised, and orchestrated to support the delivery of better health and social care. Find out why and how your NHS organisation should apply for funding this financial year (2023/24). There's not long left, you have until the 6th October 2023!
NHS Digital: Future Connectivity
As you may know, funding and support is available for NHS organisations that are implementing innovative WiFi solutions to address healthcare’s connectivity challenges.
Successful applicants can expect to benefit from funding for their project and an opportunity to work with NHS England to implement innovative WiFi solutions.
Some of the ways SPARK® TSL can help healthcare challenges are:
- ·Signposting to alternative options, urgent care, GP services etc to reduce wait times.
- Provide information about common issues, like broken noses where people can wait hours and just get told to go home.
- Provide information on the current wait time in the Emergency Department and surrounding ED’s.

What to Provide in the Application
The application process for wireless trials is now open for NHS organisation who wish to apply. As part of their submission, organisations are required to provide an overview of:
- Their wireless project and objectives
- The anticipated outcome and impact for delivery of health or social care
- The healthcare need or technological challenge they are seeking to overcome
Where to apply:
If you would like to apply for funding this financial year (2023/24), you will need to complete a short application form by Friday 6 October.
